Transform Your Life Today

I am BLESSED to have over 40 years of experience, working with kids and families in many different environments. Parenting can be hard and sometimes we just need suggestions. I would like to share tips and tricks that I have learned over the years to help Parents and Individuals navigate through this tricky thing called, "Life."

  Fresch Thoughts is a vision that has come about because of the years I have spent working with students and parents.  No one needs to explain to you how much society has changed over the years and it is obvious that parents are struggling to parent.  We often hear that the child has bad behavior, but after years of teaching, coaching, and mentoring students, we always come full circle, back to the home life.  My ultimate goal is to help Parents be better Parents by giving them tips and suggestions on how to communicate and understand how to help support their child in today's world. 

I have realized many parents want to be better parents; they just do not know how.  Years ago, families lived near one another and received support from other family members. Today with 40-50% of first marriages and 60-67% of second marriages ending in divorce, many do not have the support that they need. I know that I do not need to explain the drug epidemic we are experiencing as well. 

Grandparents are raising their grandkids because parents are off in their own world.

I have a special place in my heart for children and I believe that someone needs to be their voice. I realize that I cannot save the world but I do believe I have enough passion, experience and compassion to help others with the gift that I was given. I have taught and mentored my whole life in various capacities: Teacher VPK Preschool, Assistant Preschool Director, Middle School, High School (Intensive Reading), SAC 13 yrs. PTO President 5 years, Community Volunteer 14 yrs., Coached Baseball, Taught Swimming 38 yrs., Judged Local and National Debate, GM Gymnastics facility, and assisted both with Dance & Cheer, as well as Youth Bible classes, to name some of the experience that I have had over the years.

I am a very happy, positive person, but I do not live in Pleasantville. Kids and teens have always felt very comfortable speaking to me about real life situations. I live in South Florida and there is very little that shocks me. I realize these kids just need someone to talk to without judging them, and that can direct them to the help they need.

I was blessed to have been raised in a Christian home with amazing parents, something I took for granted growing up. I also didn't realize at the time that I went to one of the best high schools in the nation. (Go Rockets!)

 My heart's desire is to share common sense solutions that can help others to live a better, productive, peaceful life.
